Welcome to My New Blog!
At the suggestion of my sister Sonia, I decided to start a blog. It will mostly be about politics as the title suggests since I seem to have a lot to say about the New York Times op-eds in particular, but I imagine I will throw in the occasional book or movie review. The title is also a suggestion from my dear sister.

Did I really suggest "Assault on Pork"? I thought it was "Attack the Pork", but no matter. It's really all the same.
I hope we can talk about other things on your blog besides shredding the NYTimes Op-eds (which can be fun). Let's be equal opportunity though and rip the Journal once in awhile. At the very least because they charge for even basic access to their website.
We should also talk about Big Ten football, big business and why CEOs of bankrupt companies make millions of dollars (sorry don't get it), whether or not Armageddon is coming (tsuami, Rita, Katrina, Pakistan earthquake, Darfur -- the world is a sad sad place), and bad TV because I love bad TV.
You did suggest "Attack on Pork" but that URL was taken, so "Assault on Pork" was the next best thing.
