White Sox vs. Astros
So sad! I wanted the Cardinals in the World Series so I could watch the games with my friends Mark (Cardinals fan) and Matt (White Sox fan).

Jesus Christ! What comments got deleted? I'm sad, too, though. I was really looking forward to some tense moments between Mark and me.
Actually they were spam comments, so that's why I turned the word verification on. Hope it's not too much of a pain because I don't want any porn links on my blog! Glad that I have another reader :)
Yeah a I sad too, baseball is just not what it use to be.
Come on. Everyone likes the White Sox. Sure they tried to rig the World Series, but that was a long time ago. Some one should show them some love. No one in Chicago does.
On a slightly different note, we did a valuation of A-Rod's contract with the Rangers. It was ridiculous. I wonder if Bush negotiated it. :) (Actually, he didn't, but it seemed like something he would do...)

He was paid $252Million in nominal dollars for a 10 year contract. In current dollars that's something like $142M. Obscene.
